Wix App · v1.3.0 · Live on the Wix App Market
Help Desk & Support Tickets
Somebody asks you something and gets a reference on the screen. They come back, type it in, and read your answer. It never sends an email, so nothing can land in spam.
- No cap on requests
- No badge, ever
- Sends no email
- One request a page
The gap it closes
The message not arriving is the whole failure of this corner of the market, and it is measurable. The nearest large base is the platform’s own forms app, 2.6★ over 629 reviews, and six of its reviews say one thing between them: “all wix forms have problems. I have lost so many customers because of wix forms which do not work. People call me and ask me why I do not get back to them” (10 votes) · “Address inputs disappear, forms don’t come through, notifications are iffy” (6 votes, from a clinic doing time-critical home visits) · “Sends out additional confirmation emails to customers. Wix support says: This can’t be switched off or modified at the moment” (6 votes) · “app not delivering to my inbox!” (5) · “Mails auto dans spam … Catastrophe”. This app has no mail engine at all. The reference on the screen is how an answer reaches somebody, so there is nothing to bounce, nothing to greylist and nothing to land in a spam folder.
Nobody on that shelf gives the customer a way to check. A contact form is a one-way door: the message goes, and the person waits with nothing in their hand. Here everyone who asks leaves with a reference, comes back to the same element, types it in and reads the conversation — status, your answer, and a box to add to it.
“Help desk” on this market means an AI chatbot, and their prices say so. Five of the six real results are chat widgets filed under the chat category, and their paid ladders count AI conversations: twenty-five a month free, then two hundred and fifty at $40.57, seven hundred and fifty at $110.52, two thousand at $278.40. Nobody has to be online here, nothing is generated, and there is no meter to run out.
The giant next door prints its own name on a form the owner has already paid for. “We pay premium price to get rid of the branding.. But you need 1 simple form and it says ‘Powered by Wix’. So why did you charge us? Premium is premium. You can’t sell business class ticket and than charge for the water!” (12 votes). Nothing this app draws carries our name, on any plan, ever.
And every paid ladder in the neighbourhood is priced on room or on permission. One rival was billed for two plans at once and then refused a downgrade on a ticket count that “included emails before we even signed up”. There is no cap on requests, replies, messages or placements on any plan here — the only numbers in the plan gate are about how the owner organises their own queue.
How it works
Four steps, then it runs itself.
- 01
Put it on a page
Drag it in from Add Elements → App Widgets, as many times as you like. Four arrangements: the whole desk, the request form on its own, a reference box on its own, or a button that opens the desk in a panel. Nothing is added to your site on its own and no page is ever created for you.
- 02
Somebody asks you something
Subject, message, and whatever else you have chosen to ask. They get a reference straight away, large enough to read off the screen, with a copy button beside it.
- 03
You answer it in your dashboard
The queue is worked oldest first, so nothing at the bottom is forgotten. Open one, read it, type your answer, and it moves to Answered. Filter by status, search by a word, a name, an address or a reference.
- 04
They come back and read it
Same element, same reference, and there is the answer — with a box to add to it, which puts the request back in your queue. Anyone signed in to your site sees their own requests listed without typing a reference at all.
How it behaves
The decisions that matter.
-
It never sends an email
There is no mail engine in this app, no auto-reply and no notification. The whole source tree is grepped for one by the test suite. The reference is the delivery, which is why nothing can go astray in the post.
-
Nobody is ever turned away from their own request
Raising a request and reading your own are free for ever, including on a subscription that has lapsed. The two functions that permit them have nowhere to put a plan — no argument, no site, nothing to pass one in — and a test reads their signatures to prove it.
-
No cap on requests, replies, messages or placements
On any plan. The numbers in this app’s plan gate are all about how you organise your own queue, never about how much of it you are allowed to have.
-
No badge, no watermark, no name of ours
Nothing this app draws on your site carries our name in any form, on any plan, ever.
-
It never receives a file
Not one byte of an upload passes through this app, so there is no storage bill and nothing of anybody’s to lose. Collecting documents from a client is our Document Request & File Upload, which is a different object.
-
It is not a chat and not a robot
No socket, no polling loop, no model, no conversation meter. Nobody has to be online for somebody to ask you something, and nothing is ever generated on your behalf.
-
“We have no record of that” and “we could not check just now” are different sentences
A look-up answers four ways, and only one of them says the request does not exist. Telling somebody their question was never received, when in fact the database had a bad second, is the worst thing this app could do — so the read behind that sentence is retried, and a failure gets its own wording.
-
One request per placement
A page that is only reading makes exactly one call. Measured on a published Wix Studio page and on a published classic page.
Pricing
Free tier that actually works.
Billed per site through the Wix App Market, monthly or yearly (yearly saves 20%). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The free plan is deliberately functional and never expires, so the app can prove itself on a real site before you pay for it.

Installing & getting started
- Add Help Desk & Support Tickets to your Wix site from the App Market and approve the permissions listed below.
- Open it from your site dashboard under Apps. It adds the A site widget (custom element) you place yourself — nothing is auto-added / A settings panel on every placement, in Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony / A dashboard page for your queue, your help desk, your figures and your spreadsheet.
- Follow the four steps above. The free tier covers no cap on requests, replies, messages or placements; a reference anybody can check; the whole conversation both ways; signed-in members seeing their own without a reference; all four arrangements and every design control; the queue, its filters and its search; private notes; a spreadsheet out — and no badge on anything., so you can prove it works before paying.
- Stuck? Email support@buildsbyluke.com — two business days response.
Permissions, and why each one
Read site, business, and email details- To read which plan your site is on, so the paid features unlock — and to read, from the token Wix itself signs, whether the person asking is signed in to your site, so they can see their own requests without a reference. That is the whole install screen. It asks for no access to your contacts, your members, your media or your store.
What is stored, and where
- Every request, every message and every help desk lives in your own site’s data, in collections this app creates. Nothing of yours leaves your site.
- A reference is made from the platform’s own cryptographic random source — eight characters out of a thirty-letter alphabet with no look-alikes in it, so it can be read aloud over a telephone and cannot be guessed.
- The email address somebody gives you is stored so you can reach them. This app never writes to it.
- When somebody is signed in to your site, who they are is read from the token Wix signed, on the server. Nothing in a page can claim to be somebody else, and no route anywhere reads a member id out of a request.
- The change record reaches back four hundred days, which the dashboard says in words rather than implying for ever.

Questions people ask.
How does somebody get my answer if you never send an email?
They keep the reference. It appears on the screen the moment they send the request, large enough to read off, with a copy button — and they come back to the same element on your site, type it in, and the whole conversation is there. That is the point of the design, not a limitation of it: the loudest cluster of complaints on the nearest large base is the notification never arriving. A reference printed in front of somebody cannot be greylisted, cannot land in spam and cannot go to an address they no longer have.
What if they lose the reference?
If they were signed in to your site when they asked, they never need it — their own requests are listed for them, and who they are is read from the token Wix signs rather than anything a page can claim. If they were not signed in, you still have their request, their name and the email address they gave you, and you can reach them yourself.
Is this a live chat?
No, deliberately. Nobody has to be sitting there. Five of the six apps a buyer finds on this shelf are AI chat widgets whose whole paid ladder counts conversations — twenty-five a month free, two thousand at $278.40. There is no socket, no polling and no model anywhere in this app.
Will it put your name on my website?
No. No badge, no watermark, on any plan, ever. The review that says it best is about the platform’s own forms app: “We pay premium price to get rid of the branding.. But you need 1 simple form and it says ‘Powered by Wix’. So why did you charge us?”
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing stops. Every request stays, every conversation stays, and anybody can still raise a new one and read their own — the two functions that permit those have nowhere in their signature to put a plan, and a test reads the source to prove it. A customer must never be turned away from a business’s help desk because the business’s card expired. Your topics, saved replies and targets stay in the dashboard and simply stop being applied.
Can people send me a screenshot or a document?
No, deliberately. Not one byte of an upload passes through this app, which is why there is no storage bill here and nothing of anybody’s to lose. Every paid ladder in this corner of the market is priced on room. If you need files from a client, that is our Document Request & File Upload, which is built for exactly that and stores nothing itself either.
How is this different from your Appointment & Enquiry Request?
That one hands an enquiry to your own email app and the conversation carries on in email. This one keeps the whole conversation on your site, with a reference the person can check whenever they like and a status that tells them where it has got to. An enquiry is one message; a request is something with a life.
What if somebody guesses a reference?
A reference comes from the platform’s own cryptographic random source — about 6.6 × 10¹¹ of them — and you can also ask for the email address again beside it, on the free plan. Wrong references are rate-limited, and a wrong email gives exactly the same answer as a wrong reference, so nobody can learn that a reference is real.
Does it work on Wix Studio?
Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app and the same settings panel. Verified on a published Wix Studio page and on a published classic Wix page, both with the widget placed by hand and driven by a stranger.
What does it ask permission for?
One thing: read site, business and email details — which plan your site is on, and whether the person asking is signed in to it. That is the whole install screen. It asks for no access to your contacts, your members, your media or your store, because it does not need any of them.
