The gap it closes

The best-known app on this shelf is Logo Slider, 4.2★ over 31 reviews and Verified by Wix — and it has no free plan at all. Its listing says “Low-cost pricing starting at $7,5/mo”, billed off the App Market entirely, and one of its own reviewers found out what “usage based” means: “View based pricing is ridiculous! $24 a month for a image carosell is outrageous. The installation instructions may as well be non existent as they are next to useless. Just use claude and code your own.” Another: “Terrible. Not what I thought it was, and now it’s started charging me and I can’t work out to delete the app.”

Five more of the ten apps a buyer actually finds are the same — no free plan whatsoever, at $2.76, $2.76, $4.15, $5.27 and $5.53 a month. One of them sells “Mobile-friendly design” as one of the four things you are paying for, and its own 2★ reviewer says it does not work: “Die Logo-Leiste lässt sich nicht in der Größe auf mehrere Bildschirmgrößen anpassen. Das Werbebild ‘Looks great on every screen’ ist also rein erfunden und gelogen.”

Of the four that do have a free tier, two print their own name on the customer’s website. One sells “Hiden Waterlogo”, “No Logo” and “Gray Mode” — greyscale, the look every agency site uses — for $2.77 a month. And a paying customer of another wrote the single most damning review on the shelf: “i paid yearly plan, whenever i post the logo showcase in the site it shows without watermark on site editor, when i publish the site and then i see (powered by) watermark in the live site … all i did was waste my money on this app.”

And every free plan on that shelf caps the logos at four or six. Four logos, one slider, “basic customization”. Four images. Six logos and two of four layouts. A rail of four cannot even loop without an obvious seam. Meanwhile the craft problem nobody solves is sitting in an unanswered four-star review: “Easy to configure but missing sizing feature — How do I configure the sizes of the logos so they are uniformly sized?”

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. 01

Add the logos you already have

They are picked straight out of your own site’s media, as many at once as you like — this app never receives an upload and keeps no file of yours. SVG works untouched, which matters, because a logo is the one picture that has to look right at every size. Give each one a name, alt text and a link, and nothing else is required.

  2. 02

One control makes them look the same size

A long wordmark and a square badge at the same height is the thing that goes wrong: the wordmark covers five times the area and shouts over the badge. Balance pulls them towards equal visual weight instead — all the way, none of the way, or anywhere in between — and any single mark that is still not right gets its own nudge. Nothing else on this shelf does this.

  3. 03

Put it wherever the page needs it

A rail that moves, two rails travelling opposite ways, a tidy grid, or one still line. Grey, grey-with-colour-under-the-pointer, faded, or full colour. Pause when somebody looks at it, soft edges, a band behind it, your speed and your direction. Every one of those is free, and it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony.

How it behaves

The decisions that matter.

  • No cap on logos, strips or placements

Six clients or sixty, one strip or a dozen, on as many pages as you like. Every free plan on this shelf stops at four or six logos; this one has no number you can exceed.

  • No watermark and no badge, on any plan, ever

Not on the page, not in the editor, not in an exported file. Two apps here sell the removal of their own name from your website, and a paying customer of one of them says the watermark came back on his live site anyway. There is nothing of ours to remove, because there is nothing of ours there.

  • Mismatched logos are balanced by eye, free

A wordmark, a badge and a tall stacked mark on one line, pulled towards the same visual weight by a single control, with a per-logo nudge for the one that is still wrong. It is the question an unanswered review on this shelf asked, and it is on the free plan.

  • Every design control is free

All four arrangements, all four tile styles, greyscale and the colour-under-the-pointer hover, pause on hover, the speed, the direction, the gap, the corners, the band and the alignment. One app here sells greyscale at $2.77 a month and another rations “advanced customization” at $11.09.

  • Your logos never leave your own site

A logo is a link to a file already in your Media Manager. This app receives no upload, stores no picture, has no quota you can fill and nothing to migrate. Remove the app and every file is exactly where you put it.

  • It never ships with somebody else’s logos

Two apps on this shelf arrive pre-loaded with the vendor’s own placeholder brands, and their reviewers say so: “you can’t change the set logos … You cant do anything but display THEIR logos”. The eight sample marks here are invented, belong to nobody, are labelled as samples, and one button removes them for good.

  • It measures nothing about your visitors

No cookie, no local storage, no session, no identifier, no third-party request of any kind. Business can count how many times each logo’s link is pressed — a tally per logo and nothing else, with nothing stored about the person who pressed it and nothing placed on their machine.

  • One request per placement, and then nothing

Measured on a published page: exactly one call to fetch the strip, and pressing a tab to filter it adds none. The rail, the hover, the loop and the tabs all run in the browser out of what the page already holds.

  • It respects a visitor who asked for less movement

The rail stops and becomes one they scroll themselves — exactly as tall as the moving one, so nothing is cut off. A strip that changes height depending on somebody’s accessibility setting is not an accessibility path.

  • It is your data, and you can take it out

CSV export is free on every plan, with every field each logo has. Uninstalling leaves the rows where they are.

Pricing

Free tier that actually works.

Billed per site through the Wix App Market, monthly or yearly (yearly saves 20%). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The free plan is deliberately functional and never expires, so the app can prove itself on a real site before you pay for it.

Free

$0

No cap on logos, strips or placements, all four arrangements (a moving rail, two rails, a grid, one still line), the optical balance and the per-logo nudge, greyscale and the colour-under-the-pointer hover, pause on hover, links and alt text on every logo, speed, direction, the background band, every design control, every visitor-facing word, and CSV export

Pro

$9.99/mo

or $95.88/yr

Tabs inside one strip — clients, partners, press — a caption and a line under each logo, and dates that bring a logo in and retire it

Business

$19.99/mo

or $191.88/yr

Everything in Pro, a second file for each logo used automatically on a dark band, your logos in from a spreadsheet, and a count of how many times each logo’s link was pressed

Documentation & data handling

Everything it touches, stated plainly.

Installing & getting started

  1. Add Logo, Client & Partner Strip to your Wix site from the App Market and approve the permissions listed below.
  2. Open it from your site dashboard under Apps. It adds the Logo, client & partner strip element (editor widget, any page, any number of times) / Dashboard page.
  3. Follow the three steps above. The free tier covers no cap on logos, strips or placements, all four arrangements (a moving rail, two rails, a grid, one still line), the optical balance and the per-logo nudge, greyscale and the colour-under-the-pointer hover, pause on hover, links and alt text on every logo, speed, direction, the background band, every design control, every visitor-facing word, and CSV export, so you can prove it works before paying.

What is stored, and where

  • Your strips and logos — the names, the addresses of the pictures in your own Media Manager, the alt text, the links, your wording and your design — are stored in collections inside your own site.
  • No file is ever uploaded to this app. A logo is a link to a picture that already lives in your site’s media, and it is drawn from that address untouched.
  • Nothing about a visitor is stored. No cookie, no local storage, no session, no identifier. On the Business plan a logo’s link can be counted: what is written is a tally saying that logo was pressed, and nothing whatsoever about who pressed it.
  • The widget makes one request per placement to fetch the strip and then runs everything in the browser. It contacts no third party.
  • Uninstalling removes the app’s collections. Nothing else on your site is touched.

Questions people ask.

How many logos can I have on the free plan?

As many as you like, in as many strips and on as many pages as you like. There is no number you can exceed. Every free plan on this shelf stops at four or six logos, so there was nothing to undercut feature by feature — the free plan is the product.

Is there a watermark or a badge on the free plan?

No, and there is none on any plan, ever. Two apps on this shelf sell the removal of their own name from your website; one of their paying customers says the watermark came back on his live site anyway. There is nothing of ours on your page to remove.

My logos are all different shapes. Will they look a mess?

No, and this is the thing the app is for. Give a long wordmark and a square badge the same height and the wordmark covers five times the area and shouts over it — which is what everything else on this shelf does. One control here pulls them towards the same visual weight, and any single mark that is still wrong gets its own nudge.

Do SVG logos work?

Yes, and they are used exactly as they are. Nothing resizes, re-encodes or rasterises your file — a logo is the one picture that has to look right at every size.

Where are my logos stored?

In your own site’s Media Manager, where they already are. This app never receives an upload and keeps no file of yours, so there is no storage of ours to fill and nothing to lose.

Does it come with fake logos I have to delete one by one?

It comes with eight invented marks so you can see the balance working, they are labelled as samples, and one button removes all of them for good. Two apps on this shelf arrive with the vendor’s own placeholder brands and their reviewers cannot get rid of them.

What happens on a phone?

The logos and the gap come down a size, the rail still scrolls, and the page never scrolls sideways. It was measured on a real mobile layout on a published site, at the width a phone actually gives it.

Does it track my visitors?

No. No cookie, no local storage, no identifier, no third party. On Business you can count presses on a logo’s link — that writes a tally per logo and nothing at all about the person.

Does it work on Wix Studio?

Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app and the same settings panel. It was built and verified on a published Wix Studio page and on a published classic Wix page.
