One vote per visitor, without tracking
A visitor’s browser remembers that they voted in a poll, so the poll shows results instead of the form again. That is the only thing stored, and only after the visitor votes.

Votes are counts
Polls store totals per option. Survey responses store the answers given and nothing about who gave them unless you add a name field.

The app reads which plan your site is on and nothing else.

Installing & getting started
- Add Polls & Surveys to your Wix site from the App Market and approve the permissions listed below.
- Open it from your site dashboard under Apps. It adds the Poll element (editor widget, any page) / Dashboard page.
- Follow the three steps above. The free tier covers one live poll with unlimited votes and live results, so you can prove it works before paying.

Permissions, and why each one

What is stored, and where
- Your polls, surveys and their results are stored in collections inside your own site.
- When a visitor votes, the app stores the vote and remembers in their browser that they voted in that poll. Survey answers are stored as given. No IP address or device identifier is kept.
- Nothing is copied to any server of ours; the app runs on Wix’s infrastructure. Uninstalling removes the app’s collections.

Questions people ask.
Can visitors vote twice?
Not from the same browser. Clearing site data would allow it; the app does not fingerprint devices to prevent that.
Can I hide the results?
Yes, on Pro. Results can be shown after voting, always, only after the close date, or never on the page.
How many options can a question have?
As many as it needs, on every plan, including the free one. Multiple choice can cap how many a visitor may pick.
