The gap it closes
The app on this shelf is Wix Bookings, 3.4★ over 1,718 reviews, and the loudest complaint from businesses that sell services rather than products is the cart they cannot remove. “Wix Bookings is too ‘Retail-focused’ for Education — … If your website provides free services, the system insists on ‘Add to Cart’ buttons and ‘Order Totals’ ($0.00). This ‘Shopping Cart’ flow is unprofessional, confusing for visitors, and there is no simple way to disable these e-commerce elements” (8 votes, February 2026). “No option to remove cart — I want to offer free consultations, cannot remove the cart or billing section” (3 votes, June 2026). “Le module de paiement… oblige les clients à renseigner une adresse postale complète avant de pouvoir payer… Résultat : j’ai dû supprimer Wix Réservation” (5 votes).
The second cluster is presentation. “The template is undesirable — There ought to be greater flexibility designing this booking template… rather than the limited layouts provided. We don’t pay to be frustrated” (10 votes). “Limited templates — the instructor data on the services data is minimal at best and completely insufficient” (7). “Ability to add tags to services for even more granular filtering… not being able to display service duration or Staff member” (7). “Manque de personalisation — Impossible d’éditer le texte du bouton filtre”. And underneath both: “Wix Bookings: Great for Imaginary Businesses with Fake Employees — each service must be tied to a staff member… I had to create multiple fake staff” (6 votes), “Why does an appointment even require a staff member??” (8).
And the pricing on this shelf is the whole wave’s argument in one table. Wix Bookings $23.57 a month, no free plan. vcita $26.35 a month, no free plan. The one app the search “price list” actually returns — called, simply, Price List — is $5.53 a month with no free plan at all and no reviews at all, and what it sells is five templates. PurpleBear’s pricing widget is $7.50 a month, external billing, no free plan. Search “service menu”, “treatment menu”, “salon menu” or “rate card” and the App Market returns nothing real whatsoever.
How it works
Three steps, then it runs itself.
- 01
Type each service once, with every price it really has
A name, and then whatever else you want: a summary, a description, a category, who performs it, where it happens, your own tags, how long it takes, a picture. Then as many priced lines as the service actually has — Junior £38, Stylist £48, Senior £58, Director £72, or 30 / 60 / 90 minutes, or “Per room”. Every price is free text, so “From £99”, “£40–£90”, “On request”, “Free” and “€60 inkl. MwSt.” are all just what you typed.
- 02
Put the list wherever you like
Drag the element onto any page, as many pages as you like, on every plan. Four arrangements — the printed menu line with a leader across the gap, cards, full-width rows, or just the name and the price — with every colour, corner, column and word yours. Categories become headings the way a printed menu prints them. Each placement can be pinned to one category, one person, one place or one tag, so the massage page shows the massages.
- 03
Send people where you already take bookings
A Book button in five modes — a link, an email address, a telephone number, a page on your own site (including your Wix Bookings page), or nothing at all. Visitors search, filter by category, who does it, where and your tags, open any service for the full description and all of its prices, and share a link straight to it. It runs in Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony.
How it behaves
The decisions that matter.
-
Tiered prices are free, because that is what a price list is
“Cut and blow dry” is not one price — it is junior, stylist, senior, director. A massage is 30, 60 or 90 minutes. A mobile trade charges by distance. Every service here carries as many priced lines as it needs, with a duration and a note on each, on the free plan. A price list that cannot draw those is a demonstration.
-
No cap on services, on any plan
A salon menu runs to eighty lines. The free plan has no limit at all — one list, unlimited services, unlimited placements, all four arrangements, every design control, search and all four filter rows, pictures, your own facts, a Book button in five modes and CSV export.
-
No watermark and no badge, on any plan, ever
Not on the page, not on a printout, not in the editor. Four of the five apps on this shelf simply have no free plan, and the ones across the wider market that do charge between $4.15 and $11.77 a month to take their own name off your website. We never put it there.
-
There is no cart, and there never will be
No calendar, no availability, no slot, no cart, no order total, no checkout, no payment, no confirmation email, no client record. Book hands a visitor straight to wherever you already take bookings. The largest cluster of complaints next door is that engine failing on live customer sites — “Nothing works on the app and I’ve lost a lot of current and prospective customers”. Ours cannot fail because it does not exist.
-
Nobody has to be on shift
Who performs a service is an optional line of text — “Emma”, “Any stylist”, “A qualified electrician” — and it is never required. The app next door makes it compulsory, and its users answer by inventing staff: “I had to create multiple fake staff just to handle different service durations and time windows.”
-
A price nobody can put a number on is still a price
“On request” and “From £99” are what a bridal quote and a mobile call-out actually cost. Nothing in this app ever computes with a price, because nothing in it ever charges. The one thing that reads one is the optional “price, lowest first” sort, which takes the first number it finds and puts anything without one at the end rather than pretending it is free.
-
Every word a visitor reads is yours
All of it is an editable field, and a list can keep twelve sets of words, one per placement — so an English page and a Welsh page can show the same services in different languages with no translation file of ours. Categories keep the order you typed them in, because a printed menu runs in a sequence.
-
Nothing is stored about a visitor
No cookie, no local storage, no identifier. The only row a visitor’s action can ever write is one saying a service’s Book button was pressed, and only when you switch counting on — which service, and nothing else at all.
-
Nothing is fetched from anybody else
No fonts, no icon sheets, no trackers, no booking service. Every glyph is drawn in the page and the only images are your own. A placement makes exactly one request, measured on a published page, and then asks nobody for anything.
-
It is your site’s data, not ours
Every service is a row in a collection inside your own site, and CSV export is free on every plan. There is no server of ours between your dashboard and your page, and uninstalling leaves the rows where they are.
Pricing
Free tier that actually works.
Billed per site through the Wix App Market, monthly or yearly (yearly saves 20%). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The free plan is deliberately functional and never expires, so the app can prove itself on a real site before you pay for it.

Installing & getting started
- Add Services & Price List to your Wix site from the App Market and approve the permissions listed below.
- Open it from your site dashboard under Apps. It adds the Services & price list element (editor widget, any page, any number of times) / Dashboard page.
- Follow the three steps above. The free tier covers one price list with no limit on services or placements, as many priced lines per service as you need, all four arrangements and every design control, categories as headings, search and all four filter rows, pictures with a gallery, a video that loads nothing until it is pressed, duration, who performs it, where, capacity, what to do beforehand, your own facts, a Book button in five modes with the address or number in readable text, share links, twelve sets of your own wording, and CSV export, so you can prove it works before paying.

What is stored, and where
- Your price list — services, prices, durations, categories, people, pictures, wording and design — is stored in collections inside your own site.
- Nothing about a visitor is stored. The only row a visitor can cause is one saying a service’s Book button was pressed, written only when you have switched counting on, and holding no name, address or identifier of any kind.
- Nothing is written to a visitor’s browser: no cookie, no local storage.
- No booking, no payment and no customer detail ever reaches this app, because it has nowhere to put one.
- Uninstalling removes the app’s collections. Nothing else is touched.

Questions people ask.
How many services do I get for free?
As many as you like, on as many pages as you like. There is no cap on the free plan at all — and neither is there on Pro or Business. Four of the five apps on this shelf have no free plan whatsoever.
Can one service have more than one price?
Yes, and that is the point of the app. A service carries as many priced lines as it really has — Junior £38, Stylist £48, Senior £58, Director £72, or 30 / 60 / 90 minutes — each with its own duration and note. It is free on every plan, because a price list that cannot draw a salon’s prices is not a price list.
Does it take bookings or payments?
No, deliberately. There is no calendar, no cart, no order total, no checkout, no payment and no confirmation email. The Book button hands a visitor to a link, an email address, a telephone number or a page on your own site — including your Wix Bookings page, if that is where you already take them. That is exactly why it cannot quietly stop working.
Do I have to assign a member of staff to each service?
No. Who performs a service is an optional line of text and nothing here ever requires it. The app next door makes it compulsory, and the workaround its users describe is inventing staff members who do not exist.
What if a price is “On request”?
Then that is what it says. Every price in this app is free text — “£45”, “From £99”, “£40–£90”, “Free”, “On request”, “£2 per mile” — because that is how service prices are actually written. Nothing ever converts one into a number to charge with.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On a narrow screen the menu line drops its leader, the price moves under the name and the cards go to one column, so the whole list still reads. The published page was measured on a real phone layout with no horizontal scrolling anywhere.
Does it work on Wix Studio?
Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app, the same settings panel. It was built and verified on a published Wix Studio site and on a published classic Wix site.
