Tours, Trips & Itineraries
Your tours with the itinerary on every one — the stops, in order, with times. It is a page, not a booking engine.
- The whole itinerary
- No cap on stops
- Never takes a booking
- No badge, ever
The gap it closes
Twenty phrases a buyer types were run against the App Market before a line of this was written, and not one returns a single real app on this object. itinerary → no cards at all. itineraries → no cards at all. excursions returns one card and it is a conversions API; attractions three; sightseeing eight. tour operator, guided tour, travel guide, city guide, tour packages, holiday packages, day tours, day trips, visitor guide, things to do, travel itinerary, trip planner, walking tour and tour booking return nothing real each, out of up to forty-eight cards apiece.
What a tour operator is handed instead is a booking engine, and its reviews are about money. Wix Bookings, 3.4★ over 1,718: the most-voted review on the whole page (25 votes) is three appointments paid for through it, the money never released, refunded to the clients, and “Wix abdicated all responsibility for the money.” Under it sit the fake staff (“Great for Imaginary Businesses with Fake Employees”, “Having to create ‘fake’ staff member … is the only way”) and the cart that cannot be switched off (“the system insists on ‘Add to Cart’ buttons and ‘Order Totals’ ($0.00) … there is no simple way to disable these e-commerce elements”).
And a multi-day trip cannot be expressed at all. “I nearly put my fist through my computer trying to set up a 2 day workshop … if you toggle off all day event then your end time has to be on the same day as start time - WHY!? … Just give us the option to set a start and end date AND TIME, over more than 24hrs PLEASE” — seven votes. Here a three-day trip with a name on each day is the ordinary case, not a workaround.
The pricing on the shelf is the finding. Virtual Tours has no free plan and tops out at $139.89 a month; Ticket Spot’s free tier stops at twenty attendees and “Remove TicketSpot Branding” sits on a $208.45 tier; the tour industry’s own connector prints its brand on your website and charges $5.58 to take it off; another takes 2% of every payment. Six rivals, and every one of them either rations the thing itself, brands your site, or takes a cut.
How it works
Five steps, then it runs itself.
- 01
Put your tours where people look
Drag it in from Add Elements → App Widgets, anywhere, as many times as you like. Four arrangements: cards, a row for each tour, picture-led posters, and a dense index — one line each, no pictures — for the thirty things to do within a mile of your hotel.
- 02
Type the itinerary once
A stop is a title, a time, a line of detail and what kind of thing it is: a stop, travel, food, free time or an overnight. Leave every day at zero for a three-hour walk, or number them and give each a name for a three-day trip. Stops move one at a time — you never retype a tour to insert one.
- 03
Everything a person asks before booking
How long, how much, where to meet, when it runs, group size, how hard it is, who leads it, which languages, what is included and what is not. All of it is free text, so “From £99 per person”, “Half day” and “Tuesdays and Saturdays, April to October” go in exactly as you would say them.
- 04
Your Book button, your seller
It links to wherever you already sell — your own booking system, an email, a phone number. This app never takes the booking, so there is no engine of ours to go down on your busiest morning.
- 05
It follows your page
By default it paints no background and takes its colour from the page, so it is legible on a dark site and a light one without anybody choosing. Colours, corner rounding, text size, width, columns and every switch are yours, on the free plan. There is no watermark and no badge on any plan, ever.
How it behaves
The decisions that matter.
-
The whole itinerary is on the free plan
Every stop, every day, every time. The two functions that answer may this be listed and may this itinerary be read have nowhere in their signatures to put a plan, and a test reads the source on every build to prove it. If your card is declined, nothing a visitor sees changes.
-
No cap on tours, stops, days or placements
Not on any plan. The Verified app next door sells exactly this number — one tour, two tours, ten tours, unlimited — across four tiers between $11.18 and $139.89 a month.
-
It never takes a booking or a payment
No cart, no total, no checkout, no commission, no payout, no customer record. There is no payment machinery anywhere in the source and a test fails the build if any appears.
-
Nobody has to be on shift
A guide is a name on a card, never an account with a rota. A self-guided walk has no guide at all, and nothing in the app minds.
-
Nothing is ever uploaded to it
A picture is a web address you pasted. The 3.2★ app on this shelf has paying customers who cannot upload a photograph at all — an upload path this app does not have is an upload path that cannot fail.
-
It connects to nothing
No booking platform, no review platform, no map key, no sign-in with anybody. The only addresses in the source are the structured-data vocabulary, your own picture library, three ordinary map links a reader presses, and where you go to change plan.
-
One request per placement
Measured on a published page: the tours, their wording, their design and every stop on every itinerary arrive in a single call. Searching, filtering, reordering, opening a three-day itinerary and pressing through to your booking page cost zero further requests.
-
A price is whatever you typed
Exactly one function in the app reads a number out of a price, and only to offer a lowest-first order. It answers no number rather than zero, so “On request” sorts last instead of appearing to be free. Everything drawn, exported or printed is your own characters, byte for byte.
-
Your work comes back out
A spreadsheet of every tour and every stop, downloadable on the free plan, for ever. Uninstalling removes the app’s collections and touches nothing else — no page is left behind, because none was ever created.
-
Nothing about a reader is recorded
On Business, opening a tour writes one row carrying which collection, which tour, which of two words and a moment. No address, no identifier, no agent string, no cookie, no session. This app cannot tell you who looked and has no field to put it in.
Pricing
Free tier that actually works.
Billed per site through the Wix App Market, monthly or yearly (yearly saves 20%). Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The free plan is deliberately functional and never expires, so the app can prove itself on a real site before you pay for it.

Questions people ask.
Will it take bookings for me?
No, and that is the point. It never takes a booking, a payment or a cut of your money, and it never holds a customer. Your Book button links to wherever you already sell. The engines that do all that on this shelf are exactly what their one-star reviews are about — money not released, carts that cannot be switched off, and staff rotas invented to satisfy a form.
How is this different from an event list?
An event list is a thing that happens once, on a date — a gig, a market, a fireworks night. A tour is something you run again and again, and what a reader wants is not the date but what happens on it. That is why every tour here carries an itinerary and none of them carries a date. Our own Event List & What’s On does the other job.
Do I have to divide a tour into days?
No. Leave every day at zero and you get one list of stops in order, which is right for a three-hour walk. Number them and each day gets its own heading, which you can name — Day 2 — The loch and the castle. A tour with no stops at all is fine too: that is a thing to do nearby, and the app draws it as one.
What about time zones?
There are none. A boat that leaves the harbour at 09:30 leaves at 09:30 for everybody who reads the page, because that is what a time on an itinerary means. Two apps in the neighbourhood charge $13.87 a month for conversion, and it is the wrong answer for a room with a floor in it.
Can I write “From £99” or “Half day”?
Yes — every one of those fields is free text. One function in the app reads a number out of a price or a duration, only to offer a lowest-first or shortest-first order, and it answers no number rather than zero, so “On request” sorts last instead of looking free.
What happens if I stop paying?
Every tour, every stop and every day stays on your page exactly as it was, on every plan, for ever. Collections beyond the first stop being editable; they never stop drawing. What stops is authoring more — a second collection, a pinned tour, your own extra fields, the numbers and the spreadsheet import.
What happens if I stop using the app?
Download the spreadsheet — free, on every plan — and you have every tour and every stop you typed. Your rows are ordinary rows in your own site’s data. Uninstalling removes the app’s collections and touches nothing else; no page is left behind, because none was ever created.
Does it work on Wix Studio?
Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app and the same settings panel.
Put Tours, Trips & Itineraries on your site.
Add it, use the free plan on a real site, and only pay once it has earned it.
